Beef breeds are another specialty of the complete offer of cattle genetics in one hand by InterGen. All worldwide important breeds can you find at InterGen. Following the philosophy of InterGen, to offer best genetics for moderate prices, we select mainly from the Czech beef programme. Since 1990 this country built up a very competitive breeding programme starting with thousands of imported pure bred animals: • 12 breeds from Angus to Salers are now bred in the Czech Republic • More than 500 farms breed about 80,000 heads of beef cattle • 6 national performance test stations are proofing the best young bulls • Animal model evaluation of breeding values is used to combine all information • 600 bulls per year are selected finally for breeding, only the best for AI station • InterGen selects the top bulls out of these, some from other countries are added Special genetics to offer, which can increase the profitability of your farm in future, is another aim of InterGen. Therefore we offer you genetic hornless bulls (polled, P-gene) in dairy and beef breeds. As well InterGen offers dairy bulls with special genes for milk quality and fitness, kappa casein AB and BB and beta casein A2A2. Please contact us!
